• Software Engineering_Java Req #: 190048665Location: Bangalore East KA INJob Category: TechnologyAs an application developer the candidate will be required to provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs for a trading systems and Back Office functions. The Candidate will need to perform design and development and research the various technology standards incorporate and ensure adherence to the JPMC standards. The candidate will need to do Proof of Concepts develop and code complex technology problems help the junior developers on the team and support testing of the various modules or components. Candidate will work on existing platform developing new functionality and fixing bugs. Current platform developed with different Spring framework features ( IOD/APO/Integration/Batch/Remote) mybatis JSF in a SOA Architecture.Ability to solve problems. The candidate is expected to be a solutions-oriented out-of-the-box thinker who frequently comes up with new and innovative ways of doing things. People on agile teams work together to solve technical problems handle issues and interface with other teams.Working in a very collaborative environment participate in all stages of applications development process. You are expected to work interdependently - collaborate negotiate make trade-offs handle conflictsGood communication skills. You are expected to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical personnel.Self-improvement. People on agile teams need an exceptional ability to learn and apply that learning--both in growing generalizing specialist skills and in improving team processes. You are expected to be open-minded to working in different areas of your systems (front-end backend middle tier) as your teams work changes.Versatility. As a part of your job you might be asked to contribute to any area of Software developmentRequired:7-10 years of Application Development experienceSolid design coding testing and debugging skills5 years of Object Oriented Analysis & Design5 years development experience in: Java 1.7/1.8 J2SE Spring Framework Spring Integration Spring Batch ORM/JTA Web Services3 years of experience in XML technologies and various parsers like JAXB or JiBX3 years of development in the Oracle PL/SQL3 years of development with Hibernate/i-Batis3 years of experience with testing framework (i.e. JUNIT Mocks Framework Fitnesse)3 years of experience with JMSExperience of multithreaded systemsUnix experience and be able to write shell scripts or debug themProven ability to communicate technical concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.Strong research investigation and evaluation skills. Takes personal initiative conscientiousness and complete follow-through on the areas of responsibilities.Preferred:Java and/or Spring certificationsFamiliarity with advanced design patterns and advanced Java conceptsTDD Unit Test Integration Test ArtifactsContinuous integration methodology and Automated testing tools is a big plusExperience designing Microservices architecture and NoSQL database is a plusExperience with Cloud technologiesExperience with successful implementations of highly scalable and highly available systems in a multi-tier environment.Financial industry support experience is preferred.
