Youll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design analytics development coding testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. Youll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of whats being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all youll be working with and sharing ideas information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.Current projects include the development of web based applications with REST APIs and separate VSTO work to support Outlook at the firm though there are plans to migrate this to the Office App model in future. Your key job responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:Comfortable producing high quality code which you take ownership and responsibility for (youll be deploying code used by a quarter of a million employees!)Recognizing processes which can be improved and/or automated and helping to drive innovationAble to document and share information so the team as a whole becomes more able and efficientProvide L4 and production support when necessary for the Apps we developRequirements5 years experience of Microsoft .Net C# development (Visual Studio ASP.NET MVC Web API EF)4 years Web development (HTML CSS JavaScript JQuery & other libraries)Microsoft/Oracle SQL databasesTest Driven Development (TDD)/ Behavior Driven Development (BDD)Experience developing and using REST APIsKnowledge of Source control systems (BitBucket SVN)BeneficialDevelopment experience with Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO/ Win Forms)Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016 and Exchange Web ServicesApps for Office/ Office 365Knowledge of Active Directory queryingKendo UIQuerying Splunk dataExperience of working in an agile environmentUnix Bash Perl PowerShellSMTP knowledgeDemonstrable experience in the following is also requiredDelivering enterprise technologies to end user communities in large-scale enterprise environments.Excellent communication skills both oral & writtenAbility to coach and transfer knowledge to other developers & stakeholders.Must be professionally assertive and have the ability to drive business urgency business impacts and have the ability to drive business priorities.Must have excellent work ethic ability to work under stress.Extremely strong analytical skills creative problem solving and strong troubleshooting skills.Positive attitude and strong client-focus ability to work flexible hours when requiredWhen you work at JPMorgan Chase & Co. youre not just working at a global financial institution.
