• Position Summary:,Senior software engineer, who is responsible for the leading the product development with quality and by following the engineering practices. The candidate should be a team player who should be able to code, do code review, and fix defects wherever needed on the project. Contribute to the architecture and design of the system while staying aligned with the overall architecture
• Supervisory Responsibilities:,No direct reports,Job Responsibilities:,Good object oriented concepts is a must and should be a technical expert on C /C 11,Comfortable in handling technical challenges across technologies,Profound knowledge of STL, Win32 library and threading,Practical knowledge of design patterns and UML,Knowledge of XML and other languages is an advantage,Uses Agile Scrum Methodology for software development,Develop and write clear and quality code compliant to a product specification,Develops unit tests for all new code,Has all code changes peer reviewed, and must peer review code when required,Provides input for documentation of new or existing programs,Developing and improving solutions (including bug fixes) to a problem,Performs technical research, monito current trends and changes in technology,Interfaces with all departments within company,Demonstrates industry knowledge to assist in new product development,Performs related duties as assigned,Basic Qualifications:,Requires Bachelo degree in Computer Science or Information Technology,Must have at least 6 to 8 yea of development experience using C in Windows environment,Bring profound knowledge of STL/Win32 and POCO library (nice to have),Good undetanding of s/w design, design patte and usage,Should have worked with SVN/GIT or other code repositories,Should have worked with Build system like Jenkins/Bamboo etc,Should have worked on creating/updating installe using Install Shield etc,Demonstrates technical leadehip skills,An ability to undetand and write scripts in Powehell or other scripting language,Track record of strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills,Should be able to think out of the box and contribute towards future projects,Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies:,Ability to handle a variety of projects simultaneously,Must be self starter and a team player,Should be a technical leader who inspires other teammates,Ability to work effectively with other teams,Should have excellent written and verbal skills,Experience working with globally distributed team is preferred,Ability to program and design in OOP/OOD,Leadehip:,Demonstrate character, clarity, courage and commitment to high-performance,Build environment of trust, high performance and engagement by establishing clear goals and a commitment to feedback, development and recognition,Change Orientation:,Champion a better, faster and simpler way of doing things,Apply original thinking and continuous improvement to processes, products, systems or services and manage change to better serve customer needs,Collaboration:,Connect, engage and communicate with othe,Encourage open expression of ideas; communicate effectively at all levels and build strong relationships,Judgment:,Make sound decisions,Demonstrate critical thinking to take appropriate risk and make sound and timely decisions,Results-Driven:,Deliver extraordinary results,Take initiative to achieve superior, quality results against internal or external standards of excellence,Eligibility Requirements:,Willingness to travel 5 PERCENT of the time
